| Recent reports have acclaimed Hebden Bridge and Calderdale
schools for being ahead of the national average. Reading
writing and maths tests by 14 year olds this summer showed
pupils excelled in every subject.
A
science revival saw a three percent rise in Calderdale test
scores which came in at 71 percent. Calderdale also lead the
way in maths and English where results came in at 74 percent
and 76 percent respectively.
These results came just weeks after Calderdale primary
schools toped the tables in tests for seven to eleven year
